I believe that strategic career guidance is built on a symbiotic relationship: between the child, the parent, and the coach. I cut through the noise to help Grade 6β12 students and parents make clear, confident decisions on streams, boards, and careers.

With a dual perspective as an Admissions Officer at international institutions and an independent consultant, I understand exactly what schools and universities evaluate.

Every parent wishes to see their child thriving, smiling, and successful. But with so many options, pressure, and so much well-meaning advice coming from every direction, children could end up being more overwhelmed than clear. And with uncertainty, parents face an impossible task β making practical, life-shaping decisions with little scope for second chances.
That's why I believe strategic guidance is built on a symbiotic relationship: between the child, the parent, and the coach. The child brings their dreams and instincts. The parent brings love, practicality, and a long view. And the coach anchors it all β asking the right questions, cutting through the noise, and guiding all three toward clarity, alignment, and confident action.
Over 15 years, I have worked with 5,000+ students and parents across some of Mumbai's most respected international schools - Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Aditya Birla World Academy, and Ecole Mondiale World School β across CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, and IB pathways.
Having sat on both sides of the table β as a consultant and as an Admissions Officer at Middlesex University, UK β I know exactly what institutions look for, and how to position your child to be seen, valued, and chosen.
As an International Certified Career Coach, I use validated psychometric assessments to help your child discover their strengths, interests, and potential β before we ever talk about careers or colleges.
And if, years from now, your child is thriving β not because they followed the crowd, but because they found the path that was truly theirsβI would consider my job well done.

"No college tie-ups. No referral commissions. No institutional agendas. Every recommendation I make is guided by one thing only: what is genuinely best for your child."
Every grade brings its own set of choices.
Here is how we align our guidance to meet your child at their specific stage of development.
βCBSE, ICSE, IB MYP, or IGCSE β which curriculum is right for my child, and how should we plan ahead?β
Test-drive your career before you decide.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Sraddha during my tenure as Head of the College, where she played a key role in international university admissions. Grade 6 is the ideal first touchpoint. Starting in Grade 6 gives you the space to explore board options (CBSE, ICSE, IB MYP, IGCSE), identify the right extracurricular direction early, and build skills and habits that compound over time.
At this stage, the focus is purely about understanding your child β their personality, natural strengths, and emerging interests β while there is still time to make thoughtful decisions without pressure.
By the time your child reaches Grade 10 β when the stakes are highest β they arrive with clarity and confidence, not confusion. These are some of the most important decisions in your child's academic life. Why face them under stress when, with the right guidance at the right time, they can be made calmly β and with complete peace of mind?
Yes β significantly. A student without Mathematics cannot sit JEE Main or appear for B.Tech engineering programmes. A Commerce or Humanities student is ineligible for NEET. These are not administrative hurdles β they are permanent eligibility requirements.
Stream selection at Grade 10 is one of the few decisions in a student's academic life that genuinely closes doors. Which is exactly why getting it right β the first time β matters so much.
Not at all. The psychometric assessment is not an exam β there are no right or wrong answers, and there is absolutely nothing to prepare for.
It simply measures your child's natural personality traits, subject interests, aptitude strengths, and orientation style β helping map the most aligned career directions to who they genuinely are. I review the results before our session so I can interpret them in the context of your child's complete profile, not in isolation.
Yes β and I actively encourage it. Parents bring context about the child that the student may not articulate themselves. I structure the session so both parents and the student are heard β and leave aligned on the same decision.
From discovery call to report delivery, the process typically takes 1β2 weeks.

Gardening, cooking, and travel keep me grounded. My mornings begin with Indian classical ragas, a quiet ritual before the day gets busy.
And if you're ever up for a conversation on astrology, I'm always happy to indulge — I find it's just another lens for understanding people, much like a psychometric assessment is.
And most evenings, you'll find me with my 'pawsome' co-worker πΎ — the one being on the planet who has me completely wrapped around his tiny paw.

Perspectives on career coaching, board selection, stream decisions, and everything in between β for families navigating the Kβ12 journey in Mumbai.

Fifteen years. Many families. Here are the five things I wish every Mumbai parent knew before the decisions became urgent.

I know what you are thinking. My child is eleven years old. Career coaching? Already? Yes β because by the end of this, I think you will see it differently.

Is this school right for my child? Rankings help narrow the list. They do not make the decision. Here is what actually does.

CBSE. ICSE. IB MYP. IGCSE. Four boards, four philosophies, four very different academic journeys. So which one is right for your child? The answer might surprise you.

You have heard other parents mention it. You have seen it on school brochures. But what is the IB Diploma Programme β really? And more importantly, is it the right choice for your child?
Let's have a brief, honest conversation about your child's current academic status, their future choices, and work together.
